According to the press service of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, this spring introduced a complete ban on amateur and commercial catch of fish in the basins of the Black and Azov Seas.

The heads of hydraulic and irrigation systems, water utilities are not encouraged to pursue at this time of great discharges of water from ponds and reservoirs to prevent the loss of young fish and spawn in shallow water.

During the spring and summer of the ban on fishery regulators have been active in the fight against poaching in the waters of the peninsula. Every day throughout the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to conduct operational-raid events to pre-empt poaching.

For violations of fishing regulations can be issued a warning or a fine: for officials - a warning or a fine of UAH 70. up to 510 UAH, and for citizens in the amount of 34 USD. up to 170 UAH.

In addition, for every illegally caught fish, depending on the size, weight and type of fish, shall pay the amount of damage from 1,7 UAH. up to 510 UAH.
